My Rating:
2 and 1/2 stars. Not nearly as triumphant as I expected.
Review: I was quite disappointed by this movie. It was decent, but not great. Denzel Washington is a great actor, but was underused. Whitney Houston is a brilliant singer, but an actor she is not. I give this film 2 and 1/2 stars only because it has some exhilarating scenes and some great songs, but it’s nothing wonderful.
