Stars: Tom
Cruise
Rated:
PG-13
My Rating: Not
even worth $2.00 to rent.
Plot: Spy movie based on the
TV series.
Review: Mission Impossible starts with confusing plot that makes it almost impossible to "get into the movie." It then adds two more key elements to make this movie not worth the film it was recorded on: Special effects that were misplaced, wasteful, and unexciting and the abominable performance of the worst actor know to Hollywood: Tom Cruise. This suspense of this movie was overpowered by confusion. High priced special effects were negated by poor delivery (James Bond films have nothing to worry about). Mission Impossible is a very successful movie that amounts to absolutely nothing.
Review: This film is
better than you give it credit for; while it is not the action film that
the previews made it out to be, it is an engrossing film none the less.
I was sucked in by the plot, and welcomed a confusing and interesting
story, we need more
challenging films these days. I will admit it is not a brilliant script
or movie, but at least
it does not blunder along mindlessly blowing things up. Not that I didn't
love the ROCK for this very
reason tho... Just give this movie another chance and listen to it, not
just watch it.
